Setting Up Branding in the IntellCRE Platform

Hey everyone, this is Anton. Welcome to this quick guide on how to set up your branding and how to work with the different branding colors and brand identity options in the IntellCRE platform.

To set up your branding, navigate to the platform settings and then to branding. Here you’ll see multiple logos that are used in different places, colors such as primary, secondary, background color, text color, color gradients, fonts, and other settings.

Using Brokerage Preset Branding

If you are a member of any common brokerages, you can use the Select Brokerage Branding option on the top right to quickly set up branding for your brokerage firm with the colors and logos included.

If not, you can manually upload your logos into the different logo fields.

Logo Types and Where They Appear

In-App Logo

The in-app logo appears in interfaces such as when you share a flipbook and someone opens it in the proprietary interface. Your logo appears on the top left side.

Horizontal Logo

The horizontal logo is used on white backgrounds. For example, on the second page of a brochure with a white background, the horizontal logo appears there.

White Horizontal Logo

The white horizontal logo appears on darker backgrounds. You can see this on the first page of the brochure where a dark background is used, as well as on section divider pages where the white logo is displayed at the bottom.

Primary and Secondary Brand Colors

Primary Color

The primary color is used in branded, client-facing interfaces such as property websites, Dealbox, brochures, and flipbooks. It is also used as a background color in marketing assets unless a different marketing background color is set.

For example, on the executive summary page, the block at the top uses the primary color.

Secondary Color

The secondary color supports the primary color and helps define the overall brand identity. It is used for visual elements such as bullet points, proforma numbers, tables, and secondary chart colors.

For example, property highlights may appear in the primary color, while bullet points appear in the secondary color. In tables and charts, the secondary color often highlights proforma numbers, while page titles remain in the primary color.

Section Divider Background Color

The section divider background color is used as the background for section divider pages and content blocks. If this color is not selected, the primary color is applied automatically.

In the brochure example, this color appears on the block on the right side of section divider pages and on parts of the title page. If not set, the brighter primary color would be used instead.

Background Color and Text Color

You can optionally select a background color if you prefer a dark theme, such as a black background. If no background color is selected, it defaults to white.

The text color should contrast appropriately. For white or light backgrounds, the text color is usually dark. For dark backgrounds, the text color should be light. If the automatic inversion does not meet your needs, you can manually set the text color.

Gradient Colors for Flyers

Gradient colors are used in property flyers. Flyers contain a central block with key property data such as financials or lease information.

You can set a gradient start color and gradient end color. If both colors are the same, no gradient is applied. If they differ, the flyer displays a gradient effect.

Font Settings

You can configure header and body fonts and preview sample header and body text. Custom fonts are also supported. If you have specific font or branding requirements, you can work with the IntellCRE team to accommodate custom fonts.

Default Brochure Settings

Under brochure settings, which are located under billing, you can configure the default options that will be applied every time you open the brochure configurator.

Here, you can set:

  • The default document layout

  • The default design style

This means that whenever you start creating a new brochure, these settings will already be preselected for you.

Single Page View vs Booklet Layout

There is a very crucial difference between the single page view and the booklet version.

The booklet version is designed to be viewed as a booklet, so two pages at a time, as we see in the live preview. The problem is, if you have an odd number of pages in a particular section, then naturally you are going to be left with a blank page or an extra page.

For instance, in the detailed sales comps section, the booklet layout needs an even number of pages in every section. If a section has an odd number of pages, you will see a blank page at the end of that section.

This issue is completely removed when using the single page view layout, because with a single page view layout the document is viewed one page at a time, like the title page, second page, third page, and so on.

With the single page view layout, you will never have the issue of having an extra blank page at the end of a section.

Design Styles and Custom Layouts

IntellCRE supports multiple design styles, including minimal and colorful.

The minimal design style uses lighter color usage and a cleaner visual appearance.
The colorful design style uses heavier color usage and is more visually expressive.

In addition to these default styles, custom design styles can be configured for specific teams or companies. These are typically set up with the help of the IntellCRE team and can be tailored to match your brand identity exactly.

Background Patterns and Section Divider Styling

You can upload a background pattern that will be displayed throughout your brochure. Before using a background pattern in production, it’s recommended to proof the result to ensure it has the desired visual effect.

You can also upload patterns specifically for section divider pages and control the opacity of the color block on those pages.

For best results:

  • Use light patterns on dark backgrounds

  • Use very subtle, light patterns on light backgrounds

This helps preserve readability and visual balance across your marketing materials.
