Introduction to the New Brochure Draft Workflow
Hey everyone, Anton here. Very excited to let you know we’ve launched a brand new workflow for creating brochures in the IntellCRE system.
You can now create multiple brochure drafts, save any changes you’re making to these drafts, and have multiple versions or drafts per deal. Once you’re 100% satisfied, you can generate a PDF document for each of these versions or drafts.
Accessing Brochure Drafts from the Property Dashboard
From the property dashboard, we go to Brochures. What we see here is a brochure draft or brochure entity.
Normally, all your past PDFs are grouped into an entity called Default. You can see the created date and the state marked as Ready, because PDFs have already been generated. You can also see the type of document and the authors.
On the right side, you have options to generate the final PDF or go back to editing the draft. In the three-dot menu, you can preview the online flip book version, especially if it’s a booklet. You can also share the online version or the link to this document, duplicate the draft, or view the history.
Viewing PDF History for a Draft
In the History section, you will find all the PDF documents that have been generated using this draft. You can view the details and access or download those historical PDFs from here.
Editing and Creating New Brochure Draft Versions
You can always go back and edit the draft. You can give it a different name, for example Version One, and continue working on this document.
You can customize the layout, financials, authors, document title, photos, and brochure contents. You can also add custom sections, custom pages, and other elements.
After leaving the draft editor, you will see a list of drafts. For example, you may now have two drafts. One of them may show a Not Generated state, meaning no PDF has been created from this draft yet.
Generating the Final PDF from a Draft
To generate the PDF document, you click Generate PDF. The system uses the exact configuration and customization set in that draft to create the final PDF document.
This PDF can then be used for marketing or sent to a client or partner. Once the PDF is generated, the button will change to Download PDF.
Depending on your settings, the file may also be automatically downloaded to your device, allowing you to continue working with the brochure immediately.
Why This New Workflow Is More Flexible
This new workflow is much more flexible because you can create multiple drafts and multiple versions of brochures for each deal. You do not have to generate the final document until you are fully satisfied.
Once ready, you can generate the PDF and download it for further use.
We’re really excited to hear your feedback on this improved workflow, and stay tuned for more updates coming soon.
